The Western History Center is providing an opportunity for the public to participate in an archaeological excavation. The dig will take place at the site of an oldtrading post known as Fort Bernard, located on the Oregon Trail. This is an excellent educational experience for individuals as well as for families. Must be museum members to dig for insurance purposes. Download the brochure for more information. The second annual Spring fundraiser for the Western History Center is the Afternoon Delight Tea, Accessories Style Show & a Bazaar featuring over 10 vendors. Afternoon Delight will take place at the Torrington Lincoln Center Community Room from 1pm-5pm. Tickets are $15 and are available by calling Helen Vogel (307-532-7132) or at Prairie Creek Books & Tea 2041 E. A St. 307-532-3495. Don’t miss this great shopping opportunity.
